Financial independence is the foundation of true empowerment. Last week, our Skill Development Center celebrated a major milestone: the graduation of our 15th batch of women from the tailoring and garment construction program. Over 50 women completed the rigorous three-month training, emerging as skilled artisans ready to start their own micro-enterprises.
Thanks to generous donations, each graduate received a new sewing machine, providing them with the immediate means to generate income. We have already seen previous graduates form cooperatives, fulfilling local orders for school uniforms and regional garments, significantly boosting their household incomes.
When a woman is financially empowered, her entire family benefits. Children stay in school longer, and community health improves. We are incredibly proud of these graduates and remain dedicated to expanding our vocational training programs across Jharkhand.
